Former CBS11 KTVT Dallas-Fort Worth reporter MaryAnn Martinez joins KPRC 2


KPRC 2 gets a new temp reporter from what I hear, MaryAnn Martinez, formerly of CBS11 KTVT in Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. She left the CBS owned station in March of 2019.

Born and raised in El Paso, Martinez has lots of Texas connections.

She also reported for KENS 5 San Antonio from 2015 to 2017.

Other stations Martinez has worked for include KTTV Los Angeles, WFOR Miami, KGTV San Diego, KVVU FOX5 Las Vegas, KGUN 9 Tucson, Arizona and KDBC El Paso.

She attended Baylor Univeristy and wrote for the school newspaper The Lariat.

Freelance reporter MaryAnn Martinez leaves KPRC 2


KPRC 2 reporter MaryAnn Martinez has left channel 2 after her temporary assignment with the station ended multiple sources confirm to mikemcguff.com.

Martinez joined channel 2 Houston after working in DFW for CBS11 KTVT.

Besides Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth, Martinez as worked for KENS 5 San Antonio, KTTV Los Angeles, WFOR Miami, KGTV San Diego, KVVU FOX5 Las Vegas, KGUN 9 Tucson, Arizona and KDBC El Paso.

She is a graduate of Baylor University.
