Multiple sources tell me abc13 KTRK reporter Katherine Marchand has left the station and the TV news biz.
She'll be joining a managing consulting firm. What? From TV to consulting?
It actually makes sense if you know that she earned an industrial engineering degree from Georgia Tech with a 4.0 GPA.
My backup after TV...blogging. I should have studied harder!
If she ever wants to change careers in the future, maybe her backup can be the executive branch because she interned at the White House in the Communications Department during the Obama administration.
Marchand came to channel 13 and Houston in August 2018 from NewsChannel 9 WTVC Chattanooga, Tennessee where she worked for three years. Prior to that she interned for “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer” on CNN and WSB Atlanta.
