Brooks Garner gone from KHOU 11

Scott Jones at FTV Live broke the news that KHOU 11 meteorologist Brooks Garner is gone from the TEGNA Houston station.

His bio has been deleted from the KHOU website, but his social media profiles are still saying channel 11 as of now.

If you've been reading this blog lately, you saw how Garner just became a new father in December. He was also recently confused for comedian Pete Holmes at a Pearland cell phone store.

The forecaster was named one of the Sexiest Weathermen on Earth in 2015 by TV Guide.

Garner came to KHOU 11 from WFLA News Channel 8 Tampa way back in 2013.

He replaced Chita Johnson Craft on the noon and 4pm newscasts. Craft moved to the morning show after David Paul moved to evenings.

Before Tampa, Garner worked at WIS Columbia, S.C. and KMEG Sioux City, Iowa.

The Emmy award winner is a graduate of Mississippi State University’s broadcast meteorology program and also has a degree from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.
