Levi Ismail is now a reporter for WTVF NewsChannel 5 Nashville.
While I was away in remote western Canada, Scott Jones of FTV Live broke the news that KHOU 11 reporter Levi Ismail has left the TEGNA station.
Jones noted that was a quick stay at the CBS affiliate since Ismail just joined KHOU in March 2018.
These days, short tenures at Houston stations seem to be more common than in the past. There have been on air types here for just six months.
Ismail came to Houston from WBBH Fort Myers, Florida where he worked as a general assignment multimedia reporter.
His TV news career began at KIMT in Mason City, Iowa
He his a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
