Former KPRC 2 reporter Sophia Beausoleil has joined NBC 5 KXAS in Dallas - Fort Worth.
This isn't even new news since Beausoleil posted as much on her Facebook page when she left Houston! I just totally missed it even though I had posted her announcement on this very blog!
"I am heading north on I-45 and moving to Dallas," Beausoleil posted. "My husband is currently in residency at a hospital in Dallas and we've been long distance since last year. Now since our sweet baby boy is part of the equation, it makes the distance a little harder. While I will greatly miss reporting in H-Town, it's important for our little family to be together. You may still see me on the airwaves though, I'll be reporting at NBC 5, KXAS."
In my defense, that weekend when Beausoleil left KPRC, I not only wrote her post but also:
- Larry Seward leaves KHOU
- Matthew Seedorff joins FOX 26 KRIV
- Hannah Mackenzie joins KPRC 2
What can I say? I'm just one dude trying to swim in this digital ocean of Houston media. Sometimes I need a life line.
