Mike Gillaspia has joined KIII Corpus Christi.
This is a follow up to my early July post where we learned Gillaspia was let go from KRIS 6 across the street.
Gillaspia joined his old station's competitor in October while I was not blogging. So there, someone had some good news in 2020 after all.
The new KIII anchor told a viewer on Twitter that he will be filling-in for the other anchors during the November and December holiday season.
Here is something you might now know, Gillaspia can now say he has anchored on KIII, KRIS and KZTV (KRIS sister station)!
The same time we learned that Gillaspia was gone from the KRIS morning show, we also learned that meteorologist Maclovio Perez was shown the door too.
Well, since he left, Perez has been doing weather reports for Pudge Nation on 95.1 FM & 1230 AM KSIX Corpus Christi.
