Brandon Hamilton leaves KWTX 10

KWTX 10 Waco-Temple-Killeen reporter Brandon Hamilton is leaving the Gray owned television station.

"Central Texas, Thank you," Hamilton tweeted August 9th. "From pushing those in power for answers, to being a voice fighting for justice, you all trusted me. For that, I am forever grateful. Tonight -- my last time signing off at @kwtx."

No word on Hamilton's next move officially, but a tweet from a friend said that the KWTX reporter is moving to Charlotte.

UPDATE
After KWTX 10 Waco, reporter Brandon Hamilton joins WBTV Charlotte, NC according to changes he made on his Twitter bio.

Hamilton joined KWTX in 2018 from abc13 KTRK where he worked as a digital journalist/producer starting in 2015.

Before that he was an on-air personality for KTSU The Choice 90.9FM in Houston.

He previously worked for AM580/96.5 News Talk WDBO as a reporter/web producer and as an Orlando Magic radio producer.

A graduate of the University of Central Florida Orlando where he earned a degree in journalism, Hamilton also received a master’s degree in Radio/Television from Texas Southern University in Houston.
