Mycah Hatfield, KJRH Tulsa, Oklahoma reporter/fill-in anchor, joins abc13 KTRK as reporter/MMJ.
This is a return for Hatfield since she is originally from Houston where she attended Northland Christian School from kindergarten to 12th grade. In fact, she interned at KPRC 2. Now that she works for channel 13, does that make channel 2 like the McCoys in her life? (OK, she probably likes that as much as I like McGruff the Crime Dog jokes. That canine ruined my family name!)
“Making my way back to Houston has been a goal of mine for years," Hatfield told mikemcguff.com. "I am so grateful to be part of the ABC 13 team. Everyone has been so welcoming. Now I am looking forward to getting out on the streets and meeting all of the great people of Houston.”
Hatfield worked at KJRH since 2017. Before that she was a Multimedia Journalist & Fill-in anchor at KATC in Lafayette, La.
The award winning reporter is a 2014 grad with a degree in journalism from Gaylord College in 2014 at the University of Oklahoma. She has a minor in Economics.
