Reporter Re’Chelle Turner is joining KPRC 2 from KARK 4 Little Rock, Arkansas.
"DREAM COME TRUE✨Beyond excited to finally announce that I’m joining the AMAZING @KPRC2 News Team, the NBC affiliate in Houston, Texas as a Reporter," Turner posted on Instagram. "I worked so hard and prayed so much about this opportunity! God is so good! 🙌🏾This is a HUGE step! I’m thrilled to work alongside some of the best journalists at KPRC and continue to do what I love! HOUSTON, I’m here to stay and ready to work for you!"
Turner joined KARK in August 2018.
She previously worked as an MMJ at KSWO 7News in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Before that, Turner was a producer for CBS 12 News WJTV / WHLT 22 in Jackson, Mississippi.
The University of Alabama grad interned at the following stations:
-WVUA Tuscaloosa, Alabama
-WBRC FOX 6 Birmingham, Alabama
-WIAT CBS 42 Birmingham, Alabama
-ABC 33/40 WBMA Birmingham, Alabama
She also worked as a correspondent for ESPNU Campus Connection.
Turner is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).
