(Houston, TX – July 22, 2019) – Telemundo Houston/KTMD announced today that Patricia Buchanan has been named Vice President of Sales effective July 22nd. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the station’s Sales Department, including all on-air and digital inventories. She will report directly to Tony Canales, President and General Manager of Telemundo Houston.

Buchanan has more than 27 years of media sales management experience, including Director of Sales LA NSO, NSM, LSM, and Director of Business Development. She joins KTMD from the NBCUniversal Owned stations in Los Angeles where she served as Director of Business Development for NBC 4, KNBC and Telemundo 52, KVEA. She will report directly to Tony Canales, President and General Manager of Telemundo Houston.
Buchanan grew up in Houston and earned a Bachelor of Arts, Ibero American Studies degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Buchanan will be relocating to Houston for the position and has developed a successful 27-year career with Telemundo.
