Gerald Harris has apparently left KHOU 11 Houston as a reporter since his bio is no longer on the station's website.
Harris joined KHOU in May 2022.
Before that, he had been with the Capitol Bureau Reporter for WKRN News 2 Nashville, Tennessee since February 2021.
He was previously the senior political correspondent/weekend anchor for WJTV 12 Jackson, Mississippi and an Adjunct Professor for Jackson State University. Before that, he was a reporter for the Medill News Service in Washington, D.C.
The Jackson State University grad, who also has a master's degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, interned with WKRN, NewsChannel 5 Nashville WTVF and the Warner Music Group in Nashville.
Recently we've seen a lot of personnel changes at KHOU 11. Julissa Garza, Katiera Winfrey and Chris Ramirez have joined the station while Michelle Choi changed schedules, Grace White was promoted and Janelle Bludau left. Former morning anchor Dave Froehlich returned to his old station.
