Gerald Harris is joining KHOU 11 Houston as a reporter from WKRN 2 Nashville, Tennessee.
Harris joined WKRN in February 2021.
Prior to his hometown of Nashville, Harris was a senior political correspondent and weekend anchor for WJTV 12 Jackson, Mississippi.
He also was a reporter for the Medill News Service in Washington DC.
The Jackson State University grad also earned his master's degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
While in school, Harris interned with WKRN, NewsChannel 5 Nashville WTVF and the Warner Music Group in Nashville.
