Houston television news ratings are a popular request from readers and I wish I had the cash to subscribe to the ratings services, but even a Patreon account couldn't get us to that level!

So we rely on the Houston TV stations to supply us with some crumbs of information on social media and FOX 26 delivered in the English-language broadcasts for this last sweeps period.  Before you jump on me, I haven't heard/seen anything from Univision or Telemundo yet

First time I remember KRIV topping the two most important TV news dayparts. Notice in the fine print at the bottom of the video, the FOX 26 wins are in the Adults 25-54 demographic.

I reached out to FOX Television Stations for more info. Stay tuned.

* My apologies to Univision 45 KXLN which tells me it had the number one 10pm newscast in Houston for the August 2020 sweeps period. I incorrectly headlined this post saying that KTMD had the top 10pm ratings in the August 2020 sweeps period. Telemundo does not claim that fact in this press release. The station says it had more local late news viewers than the English-language stations. We regret the error.
