HOUSTON, TX – (August 27, 2020) – Upon the conclusion of the August 2020 survey period, “Noticiero Telemundo Houston a las 10PM” delivered a minimum of 2x more Adults 18-49 and 3x more Adults 18-34 during the week than any other English-language local weekday late news program.
The August 2020 survey also finds that more of Houston’s Adults 18-49 watched “Noticiero Telemundo Houston a las 5PM” and more Adults 25-54 watched “Noticiero Telemundo Houston a las 10PM” during the week for the most up-to-date information and weather than ABC, CBS, NBC, CBS and FOX. In addition, more Adult 18-49 Houstonians watched KTMD’s special news broadcast of “Noticias Telemundo Alerta en El Golfo,” for the latest information on Hurricane Laura than any other prime program regardless of language.

* My apologies to Univision 45 KXLN which tells me it had the number one 10pm newscast in Houston for the August 2020 sweeps period. I incorrectly headlined this post saying that KTMD had the top 10pm ratings in the August 2020 sweeps period. Telemundo does not claim that fact in this press release. The station says it had more local late news viewers than the English-language stations. We regret the error.
