I hear that former FOX 26 Houston KRIV meteorologist Stephen Morgan is returning to Texas for FOX Weather to help with special solar eclipse marathon coverage up to and on April 8th.
"I enjoyed working weekends with Denise Middleton," Morgan told mikemcguff.com in 2021, looking back at his FOX 26 days. "And before Denise, there was Rashi Vats and Deneige Broom. We had so much fun (sometimes too much fun) — but let’s be honest, who likes waking up at 3AM on Saturdays & Sundays? You gotta make the most of it!"
He's not the only one hitting the road for FOX Weather's America’s Total Eclipse coverage, as other correspondents and meteorologists will be reporting from across the country in the path of totality.
Apparently, correspondent Casey Stegall will be in Dallas, and multimedia reporter Joy Addison will be in Waco.
Morgan joined FOX 26 as a reporter in 2017 and left for FOX Weather in 2021.
Former KPRC 2 morning meteorologist Britta Merwin also joined FOX Weather with Morgan for the debut of the free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) weather service.
