DALLAS - FORT WORTH
KTVT has promoted Scott Padgett to chief meteorologist, effective immediately. He joins Doug Dunbar and Kaley O’Kelley weekdays on the CBS 11 News at 5, 6 and 10 p.m.
Ashleigh Barry, most recently at KPHO and KTVK in Phoenix, will join the KXAS/Channel 5 news team in early October.
Analía Fiestas and Andrea Aguirre Alvarado have joined Telemundo-owned station KXTX as video journalists.

Houston Public Media News 88.7 Health & Science desk reporter Carrie Feibel is leaving Houston to become the health editor at KQED in San Francisco. Carrie’s last day at the station will be Oct. 5. Houston Public Media is committed to continue offering insightful and leading-edge health coverage and will be filling the position.
