Jim Douglas, who has spent the last 20 years of his career at WFAA, has left the station.

Weatherman Bob Goosmann denied there were any racial undertones to the incendiary Facebook comment that led him to resign as chief meteorologist at KRLD (1080 AM).

Hannah Davis joins WFAA Dallas as a multi-media journalist.

Stefan Gorman leaves NBC 5 KXAS as News Story Development Leader and Assignments Editor to become the new content manager for WFAA 8.

HOUSTON

Former KPRC 2 morning feature reporter Ruben Galvan returns to his former station, CW6 XETV San Diego to become the weekend morning show co-anchor.

Rock 101 KLOL legend Lanny Griffith (also formerly of FOX 26 KRIV, 94.5 The Buzz KTBZ) will be Outreach Coordinator for At Large Council Member Mike Knox. Griffith will also be a new columnist for his hometown paper The Baytown Sun.

KTRK abc13 SkyEye 13 reporter/videographer, Andy Bass, has left the station and employer Helicopters Inc according to his LinkedIn page.

Wei-Huan Chen ‏joins the Houston Chronicle as theater critic from the IndyStar.

Philip Muller becomes KTMD Telemundo Houston Chief Engineer.

Mena El-Sharkawi leaves the abc13 KTRK web department to join the MD Anderson communications team.

Former FOX 26 KRIV managing editor Geoffrey Roth has landed a gig as Director of Content Development for KTSF in San Francisco.

Mike Emery leaves the University of Houston media office after 15 years to become the UH-Downtown Director of Communications.

Breana Pitts has joined CBS Boston’s WBZ-TV from EL Paso's KTSM as a weekday morning news reporter, covering traffic and other reporting duties.

Krystal Klei leaves KVIA El Paso to become the weekend morning meteorologist at WCAU Philadelphia.

Executive Producer of Tegna Texas News Service Molly Garrity joins KAGS Bryan/College Station as news director.

Telemundo 40 Río Grande Valley / KTLM announced that Carlos Sánchez has been named Video Journalist for Noticias Telemundo 40 at 10 PM. Sánchez, who has more than 15 years of experience working in local broadcasting for Spanish-language viewers, joins Telemundo 40 after working as a reporter for Telemundo El Paso / KTDO, Azteca America network in Miami, Florida and Channel 44, a local television station Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

News director Charlie Haldeman leaves KPLC Lake Charles to join KXXV Waco in the same position. KXXV news director Dennis Kinney has resigned.

Makenzi Henderson joins KXXV as anchor from WWAY Wilmington, NC.

Reporter Amy Jenson joins KTUL Tulsa from KXII News 12 Sherman.
