Former KPRC 2 morning feature reporter Ruben Galvan returns to his former station, CW6 XETV San Diego to become the weekend morning show co-anchor.

Rock 101 KLOL legend Lanny Griffith (also formerly of FOX 26 KRIV, 94.5 The Buzz KTBZ) will be Outreach Coordinator for At Large Council Member Mike Knox. Griffith will also be a new columnist for his hometown paper The Baytown Sun.

Telemundo 40 Río Grande Valley / KTLM announced that Carlos Sánchez has been named Video Journalist for Noticias Telemundo 40 at 10 PM. Sánchez, who has more than 15 years of experience working in local broadcasting for Spanish-language viewers, joins Telemundo 40 after working as a reporter for Telemundo El Paso / KTDO, Azteca America network in Miami, Florida and Channel 44, a local television station Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

News director Charlie Haldeman leaves KPLC Lake Charles to join KXXV Waco in the same position. KXXV news director Dennis Kinney has resigned.
