Texas TV & radio job moves September 2016


KTVT has promoted Scott Padgett to chief meteorologist, effective immediately. He joins Doug Dunbar and Kaley O’Kelley weekdays on the CBS 11 News at 5, 6 and 10 p.m.

Ashleigh Barry, most recently at KPHO and KTVK in Phoenix, will join the KXAS/Channel 5 news team in early October.

Analía Fiestas and Andrea Aguirre Alvarado have joined Telemundo-owned station KXTX as video journalists.

Houston Public Media News 88.7 Health & Science desk reporter Carrie Feibel is leaving Houston to become the health editor at KQED in San Francisco. Carrie’s last day at the station will be Oct. 5.
