Shannon Murray married her fiancé, Chris, last weekend in Manor, Texas near Austin and the wedding was a Texas TV affair.
Murray, who recently joined the 4am to 6am shift for FOX 4 KDFW Dallas - Fort Worth's “Good Day” weekday morning newscast, was joined by wedding guests such as co-anchor Hanna Battah and Alex Boyér.
Another Hannah, with an H, former WFAA Good Morning Texas host Hannah Davis officiated the wedding.
From what I understand abc13 KTRK Houston reporter Shelley Childers was also in attendance!
Back in North Texas, DFW metroplex TV viewers will notice Steve Noviello filling in for Murray while she is on her honeymoon.
Last summer, Murray's boyfriend Chris surprised the FOX 4 journalist when he popped the question in the Dallas Bishop Arts District where they met at Revelers Hall. The couple's dog Boo Boo was even in attendance with a lot of friends and family from around the US (you can watch the proposal in the embedded YouTube video).
Future co-anchor at the time, Battah, even helped arrange the surprise.
