Shannon Murray announced Wednesday that she's the newest FOX 4 KDFW Dallas - Fort Worth “Good Day” weekday morning addition, co-anchoring the 4 to 6am shift with Hanna Battah.
Murray takes over the empty seat left by Brandon Todd in August 2022, who took over for the now retired Tim Ryan on the 6am to 10am shift.
Like Battah, Murray will also report from the 6am to 10am hours.
Murray, who has been with FOX 4 since January 2016, has worked as a reporter/fill-in anchor.
Before returning to North Texas, Murray, who grew up in Desoto, was a reporter/fill-in anchor for KVUE Austin.
She got her TV start as a reporter/anchor with CBS7 KOSA Midland - Odessa.
The University of Texas at Austin grad interned with KXAN Austin and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
Murray got engaged in August to her fiancé Chris.
