Ever since Vicente Arenas left CBS News, we've seen reports on where he was interviewing, but now we know where he has officially landed as I posted on social media Monday night.
He's going to Denver's KUSA:
9NEWS is welcoming veteran journalist Vicente Arenas to the team as Weekend Anchor!
Vicente Arenas
Arenas comes to Denver after being a CBS News correspondent in Miami. Arenas is originally from Texas and is a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.
He also worked at WOAI in San Antonio where he reported and anchored. Arenas then reported and anchored at KHOU-TV for more than 10 years.
Arenas says, '"It was my goal to live in Denver after leaving Miami. I've had a chance to visit several parts of the city and am loving everybit of it. I can't wait to start telling stories at 9NEWS."
Arenas' first day at 9NEWS will be February 17.
Houston got a KUSA reporter when Jace Larson joined KPRC in 2013.
