Lots of my readers couldn't believe Vicente Arenas left CBS News last month. I hear it was family reasons. But Arenas might be back on the air sooner than later...and sorry Houston TV...the rumor doesn't include you.
Jeanne Jakle of the San Antonio Express News reports she hears the former KHOU weekend anchor and KTRK abc13 reporter, might be toying with the idea of returning to Alamo City TV news.

After all, Arenas did work at San Antonio's WOAI before returning to Houston at channel 11 in 2003.
Houston TV watchers might also recognize the fact that one of Arenas' old KHOU bosses, Jack Acosta, is now the news director at KENS. That can't hurt his case either.
