Wex Houx out, Kyle Roberts in as WFAA 8's weekend morn meteorologist.

Madison Adams joined CBS 11 News This Morning (weekdays 4:30 – 7:00 a.m.) as traffic anchor Dec. 27. Adams was most recently an anchor and reporter for KWTX-TV in Waco. While there she was also the lead reporter for the Emmy Award-winning “KWTX Baylor Gameday” show which airs before each Baylor home football game.

Weekend anchor Johnny Archer to leave NBC 5 in early ’17.

HOUSTON

Moby retiring from his syndicated radio show December 30.

Sam Cruze is now reporting fill-in traffic/part time weekend staff as a local host (Saturday mornings) on News 88.7 KUHF.

Astros hire Todd Kalas as new play-by-play announcer.

Chad Miller, the magazine’s former group associate publisher has returned to PaperCity as president of newly formed UPI Digital, LLC. Miller comes from CultureMap, where he held the position of chief revenue officer and oversaw all of the online publication’s advertising efforts. He brings more than 16 years of experience growing startup media companies, building and leading winning sales teams, launching new sellable products and creating custom advertising programs that have attracted major brands, such as Cadillac, Omega, Frost Bank, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Johnnie Walker to name just a few.

Jennifer Cotto joins KHOU 11 as a producer.

Scylla Lopez leaves KPRC 2 to become a digital producer at KTRK abc13.

Michael JH is now the board op at 700 KSEV Sunday 2pm-8pm.
