Samica Knight says she is back in the saddle and feeling good! The popular morning anchor returns to ABC 13 Houston KTRK Monday morning. On Instagram Knight posted, "Meanwhile, thanks for being family. You all are so loving and caring and I truly appreciate you. Truly." And Knight added that even her mother was getting questions at the grocery store about her whereabouts!

I woke up this morning at 6 a.m. to see my "Where is Samica Knight on ABC13 KTRK 2024?" post exploding with web traffic and many questions asking where Knight is in 2025.
Questions about Knight's whereabouts have been coming in December, but I guess today, her loyal Channel 13 viewers figured vacation time was over, and she would be back at the anchor desk. When viewers search for her social accounts, nothing has been posted in weeks with an explanation.
Thanks to everyone who has written me, and I want you to know you are being heard!
If this makes Knight's fans feel any better, I have not heard a word about her leaving ABC13.
We know Knight is popular based on the Houston audience reaction when she is gone from the airwaves!
Maybe KTRK morning news viewers are still sensitive after the departures of Jacob Rascon, Courtney Fischer, and Rosie Nguyen in December 2024.
When Knight has been gone before, she explained why she was off-air when she returned.
