Jonathan Cotto who is a KSAT 12’s Good Morning San Antonio reporter announced he is leaving the station.
UPDATE
Cotto is now a Public Affairs Specialist for the United States Air Force.
Here is a portion of Cotto said on Facebook when leaving television news:
"Thank you, KSAT, for the incredible experience and the wonderful team I've had the honor to work with. And, of course, a big thank you to San Antonio and the those who continued sending their love in the RGV for your support and warmth.
As I embark on this new chapter in my life, I'm excited about what the future holds. Stay tuned for updates on my next steps, and let's keep in touch.
Thank you all once again, and here's to the next exciting chapter!"
Cotto joined KSAT in January 2021 as a weekend reporter from FOX South Texas KFXV and Univision KNVO in McAllen where he was a bilingual multi-media journalist (MMJ)/anchor.
The California State University-Los Angeles graduate also served in the United States Navy.
The same weekend that Cotto announced he was leaving KSAT, morning traffic anchor Steven Cavazos also announced his departure.
