Stubie Doak retires from WBAP 820 Dallas

Stubie Doak has retired from the WBAP 820 Morning News with Hal Jay and Ernie Brown in Dallas - Fort Worth.

A WBAP representative told me Doak and his wife moved to Florida.

Doak had been with WBAP for more around 15 years.

The Dallas native previously worked for Dallas broadcasters such as New Country 96.3 KSCS, Young Country 105.3FM KYNG and the ABC Radio Network.

In between his time in Texas radio, Doak worked for the WMGG Columbus, Ohio morning show.

Before leaving Texas, Doak worked for KAAM-KAFM-KZPS in DFW and KKMK FM 95 in McKinney.

In 2014, Doak wrote the children's book "A Booger On My Shirt."
