Jett Beachum is joining CBS 11 DFW KTVT as a sports reporter/producer in December 2022.
Here is a portion of what Beachum posted on Instagram about his Metroplex TV job move:
"Texas, I’m coming home. Blessed to announce I’ve accepted a sports reporter/producer position at CBS 11 in DFW.
From dreaming about this as a kid to all the holidays spent alone in different states as an adult, I’ve been working toward this moment my entire life.
Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible."
Beachum comes from KGAN CBS 2 Cedar Rapids, Iowa where he is a sports anchor/reporter where he has been since September 2022.
The Irving, Texas native previously worked for KHQA 7 Quincy, Illinois where he was a weekend sports anchor.
Before leaving Texas, Beachum was a KSAT 12 San Antonio sports producer.
The University of Texas at Austin grad interned with the ESPN's Longhorn Network and Time Warner Cable Sports.
