I told you back in March 2022 that longtime KXAN Austin anchor Robert Hadlock was retiring from the Nexstar Media Inc. station this summer.

Today, the Austin NBC affiliate announced that KXAN political reporter Daniel Marin will take over for Hadlock on the evening anchor shift joining Britt Moreno.
“It can feel like a thousand years ago or just yesterday, depending on the situation," Hadlock said on the station's website. "I’ve had a great time working here. It’s a great job in a great city."
No word on when Hadlock officially retires and Marin starts his new gig.
