Dugan announced on her last day on-air (July 1, 2022) that she is pregnant with a baby delivery date of December.

She later revealed that her new job is with the KXAN sales department.

Here is what Dugan posted on social media:

"This Friday will be my last on KXAN Today, Nonstop Weather & Traffic and KXAN News at Noon.

In the past 11 years I’ve learned and matured at KXAN News and feel very grateful for my time in the newsroom.

As my family has grown, I found that I need to make adjustments to my work life that better fit my home life. I’m sure many of you can relate.

I’ve been blessed to work with incredible people and very lucky that you have all been so kind and supportive.

Stay positive and stay safe."

Dugan joined KXAN in March 2012.

She was led to the station after being voted as the "2011 CW Austin Star" on KXAN sister-station KNVA 54. In the role, Dugan was the voice, face and personality of The CW Austin.

The Texas State University grad got her start in broadcasting with the school's KTSW 89.9 FM. She also interned with "The Bobby Bones Show."
