Kate Bieri is joining FOX13 Memphis WHBQ Memphis, Tennessee from her anchor/New Mexico reporter position with ABC7 KVIA El Paso.
"I’m so excited to join the incredible team at @FOX13Memphis in just a couple weeks," Bieri tweeted. "We will launch a new consumer reporting role at the station! Thank you to El Paso, Las Cruces and the Borderland!"
Bieri, a New Mexico native who was raised in Las Cruces, joined KVIA in June 2017.
The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Mass Communication at Arizona State University grad interned with 12 News KPNX Phoenix, CBS News, KOB 4 Albuquerque, KTVK 3TV Phoenix and KVIA. The summa cum laude graduate also worked for The Arizona Republic as a breaking news reporter and the school's Cronkite News while a student.
In 2017, Bieri was recognized as the ASU Alumni Association Outstanding Graduate student.
