Dominic Brown is joining the CBS 11 DFW KTVT weather department from WIS News 10 Columbia, SC where he is the station's Chief Meteorologist.

Brown joined WIS as chief meteorologist in June 2017.
Before that he worked five years as a meteorologist for WTKR News 3 Norfolk, Virginia,
He got his broadcast meteorological start for WCTI 12 and FOX 8/14 New Bern, NC as the weekend meteorologist/weekday reporter where he made history as that station's first Black meteorologist.
The Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia grad also has his Master of Science - MS, Geosciences/Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
Brown is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), the National Weather Association, the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
