As Houston is thankful Hurricane Laura missed us, our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected areas in Texas and Louisiana.
I stayed up till midnight surveying Houston TV coverage. All the stations seemed to have extended coverage.
If you saw my tweets last night, KHOU 11 was the first station to sign off at 10:50.
By midnight, only KPRC 2, CW39 KIAH and Telemundo Houston 47 remained on air with extended hurricane coverage.
I went to bed after that so if anyone else came back on air, let me know.
Here are some video offerings from Texas TV stations along the Gulf Coast covering the storm.
KPRC 2 reporter Robert Arnold braved the storm live on channel 2. Meanwhile KSAT 12 San Antonio meteorologist Justin Horne (formerly of CW39 Houston KIAH) was near what looked like an electrical power explosion in Orange, TX.
