To put a face on this, as the storm was making landfall and at the end of her 12 hour shift, KPRC 2 anchors Dominique Sachse and Kris Gutierrez interviewed channel 2 producer Erica Young, whose family lives in Louisiana.
She talks about what it's like covering an event like this while knowing her family is in danger.
