KPRC 2 reporter Bill Barajas announced Sunday night on Facebook that he has returned to work after testing positive for COVID-19:
Most of y’all don’t know but I recently tested positive for the coronavirus and have been in quarantine ever since.
I have now been retested and cleared to return to work!
I’m not quite sure where I contracted covid but I am thankful I only had mild symptoms and that my family, friends and co-workers are all ok!
For those that don’t believe the virus is real... it is. I now have firsthand experience and it’s not something I want anyone else to have to go through.
Barajas joined channel 2 in May 2019 from KSAT 12 San Antonio where he was an anchor/reporter.
Other members of the media who have publicly announced they have tested positive include abc13 KTRK general manager Wendy Granato, Producer Hoss on 93Q and abc13 KTRK anchor Chauncy Glover.
