You may have heard Houston radio's Adrian ‘Producer Hoss’ Perez of the Dean & Rog Show on 106.9 & 107.5 The Eagle KGLK or now as Executive Producer of the Q Morning Zoo on The New 93Q KKBQ.
Tonight his station lets us know on Facebook that he is in the hospital due to COVID-19:
One of our own has been hit with the Coronavirus. Producer Hoss has tested positive for COVID 19 and is currently in the hospital. If you have an opportunity, please pray for a quick recovery. We love him and we need him. He also wanted to be on the show to tell his story. Tune into the Q Morning Zoo tomorrow morning at 9:10am...

The only other Houston media figure that I am aware of suffering from the affects of the corona-virus is abc13 KTRK anchor Chauncy Glover. Thankfully he is recovering. In fact, Glover has already hosted a town hall concerning COVID-19 and communities of color.
Perez started his radio career in 2009 as an intern for 104.1 KRBE The Roula & Ryan Show where he became an associate producer.
The University of Houston grad moved to Cox Media Group, owners of KGLK and KKBQ among others, in 2012 where he has been ever since.
