Mariza Reyes Mendoza |
The newly married Mariza Mendoza just joined KSAT 12 in San Antonio as a reporter.
"KSAT is wonderful and I feel so honored and blessed to be able to continue my career with KPRC's sister station," Mendoza told mikemcguff.com. "I am finally in a place where everything has come together - my career, and my family life."
Mendoza left KPRC in 2011 after being at the station for five years.
Before Houston, she worked at WLUC-TV in Marquette, Michigan, WJFW-TV in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, N.M., KGMB-TV in Honolulu, Hawaii and WSYX-TV in Columbus, Ohio.
Reyes is a DePaul University graduate and was nominated for an Emmy in Columbus. She also won three awards from the Society of Professional Journalists while working in Hawaii. Her family lives in Chicago.
Post-Newsweek owns both KPRC and KSAT.
