Vargas' official last day will be September 26. Being that is this coming Sunday, and Vargas does not usually work that day to my knowledge, we can assume her last day on air will be this Friday.
So now to the part you're wanting to know about...where is she going?
Newsblues has been around for a long time in web years and it was correct when reporting Vargas is KCBS bound. So congrats to Vargas, it's been a great three years in Houston.
My question for you is, will KRIV replace Vargas? Or will Melinda Spaulding do both the 5pm and 9pm shows? Your homework for tonight is to write a single spaced, two page paper on this topic.
