We used to watch Sibila Vargas talk entertainment on CNN almost every afternoon. Then one day she disappeared.Now she is in Houston at Fox 26 KRIV in the mornings. She is sitting in the anchor chair that Jan Jeffcoat used to fill. Jeffcoat left us to anchor Good Day Chicago on Fox-owned WFLD Channel 32 in the Windy City.
The Houston Chronicle did a piece on Vargas' new job but I was left confused. It was written by David Barron. If you read this blog with any regularity, you would place his name with the Chron's sports media beat. He does a good job so I guess they are expanding his duties. Where is Mike McDaniel through all of this? He usually does the anchor fluff pieces for the TV section! We all miss you Mike.
