I have to say that I am glad KPRC Local 2 brought back "The Eyes of Texas" to the airwaves. That's a show I grew up with and always enjoyed watching. Call me a sappy, but I enjoy watching feature stories about the Lone Star State. I really enjoy watching the historical stories too.
In my perfect world, the station should give that show its own web site (I would argue its own domain). Personally, I would give that site its own look and feel. Then I would put more old story video up there. That show was on for a while so I imagine the worst part would be encoding it all from old tape formats. I ran into that before.
Some might argue that the demo for the show might not follow it to the web. Maybe so, but I still think there is a new generation that could enjoy it. Houstonians are a bunch of transients so I imagine you could have Internet viewers from all over the world. I have to imagine that explains the international traffic that comes to this little blog you are reading now.
