KTAB 32 Abilene viewers might be wondering why there is a bandage on chief meteorologist Sam Nichols's head.
He let us in on the accident that caused it.
"'I fought the kitchen cabinet door, and it won!' Helpful tip, keep cabinet doors closed, and rise up slowly when getting something out of the bottom cabinets," Nichols posted. "Four stitches and a black eye later... Don’t want a rematch! Oh well, just another event-filled weekend at the Nichols household."
