Faith Colbert joined KCEN 6 Waco-Temple-Killeen as the "Texas Today" morning meteorologist in June 2025.
She takes over for Avaionia Smith, who recently left KCEN.
Colbert arrives in Central Texas from TEGNA's sister station, 3News KIII Corpus Christi, where she served as a weekend morning meteorologist and multiskilled journalist (MSJ) since June 2023.
According to her bio, Colbert made history as the first African-American meteorologist at 3News Corpus.
A graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, the Dallas native interned with CBS 17 WNCN Raleigh, North Carolina.
