Tara Thomas joined ABC Big 2 News KMID and Fox 24 News KPEJ Midland-Odessa as an evening anchor in May 2025.
Thomas co-anchors with Chris Talley on KMID at 6 and 10 p.m. and on KPEJ at 9 p.m.
It appears she is filling the spot left open by the departure of Madalyn Bierster.

A California State University, Fresno grad, Thomas later earned a Master of Jurisprudence in Business Law from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio.
