Where is Mark Kriski?

Mark Kriski strolled onto the KTLA 5 Los Angeles Morning News like a boss this week after suffering from a stroke in May.

ā€œOn Memorial Day weekend I had a stroke. Everything was pretty well and fine, but all of the sudden at one oā€™clock in the morning I had this massive, massive headache. I donā€™t get headaches, I donā€™t get migraines. It was from front to back,ā€ Kriski explained live on KTLA. ā€œI stood up to go to the bathroom to get aspirin or something, I went down like a ton of bricks. I stood up holding the bed and I couldnā€™t stand, I was falling to the right. They say with a stroke, itā€™s all within the first six months. Whatever you regain within the first six months, thatā€™s pretty much it. You will get a little better, but the first three months thatā€™s what Dr. Jandial told me. He said ā€˜Move and when it starts hurting move more.'"

Kriski's appearance happened during Dayna Devonā€™s Entertainment Report and the longtime morning meteorologist revealed heā€™s head back to work, although no return date has been determined.

Kriski has been a fixture at Channel 5 since 1991.
