Sarah Acosta announced she is pregnant and tied the news to her KSAT San Antonio resident gardener role.
"I grew all these things," Acosta said in a Facebook post that showed a photo of flowers and an ultrasound photo. "This time growing something a little different….my husband and I are over the moon to welcome Baby Girl this coming Spring."
KSAT photojournalist Azian Bermea even captured the moment Acosta learned she and her husband are having a baby girl.
The weekend Good Morning San Antonio anchor gets to experience pregnancy with weekend morning meteorologist Sarah Spivey.
"I’m so happy for my good friend," Spivey posted. "Can’t believe we get to experience this new chapter of life at the same time. Such an answered prayer! Sarah, you’re going to be a phenomenal mom!!!"
Acosta joined KSAT12 in April 2018 as a morning reporter from FOX 40 KTXL Sacramento, California.
The native South Texan and Southern Methodist University (SMU) grad has also reported for the Corpus Christi Caller-Times and KIII-3 News.
