KPRC 2 Houston just announced the meteorology changes that many of you suspected.
Justin Stapleton is taking over KPRC 2 mornings for Anthony Yanez, now the station's chief meteorologist, and taking over evenings from the retiring Frank Billingsley. Yanez's promotion was announced yesterday evening and covered on this blog.
Caroline Brown will now cover weather in mid-days and afternoons.
Here is the full lineup:
• Anthony Yanez: 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm newscasts
• Justin Stapleton: 5am-7am KPRC 2 News Today, 7am and 8am KPRC 2+ Now, 10am KPRC 2 News Today
• Caroline Brown: Noon, 3pm, and 4pm newscasts
• Brittany Begley: Weekend mornings
• Daji Aswad: Weekend evenings
