Camilla Rambaldi leaves FOX 29 San Antonio

Camilla Rambaldi anchored her final newscast on FOXSA 29 Puro San Antonio KABB on January 12, 2024 after nearly eight years.

Here is what Rambaldi posted on Facebook:

"It has been a remarkable journey doing what I love every day in the beautiful city of San Antonio. From being out in the field reporting to launching my franchise SA STRONG, I have met incredible people from all walks of life.

It has been an absolute privilege to share your stories. Thank you for trusting me.

I’m incredibly grateful to management for believing in me and granting me this opportunity. A huge thank you to the entire FOX SA family, who works tirelessly every day to put on our newscasts. Thank you to my talented 9pm team, Ryan Wolf, Alex Garcia, Yami Virgin, and Chuck Miketinac, for all the support and dedication.

The community that I have built in this city reminds me every day of why I got into journalism. San Antonio, you have been my home away from home. Thank you for this monumental chapter."

This is also a departure from Sinclair's sister station ABC 45 WXLV Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where Rambaldi has anchored from Texas since 2021.

Rambaldi has been with KABB since January 2016 as a reporter/fill-in anchor.  She was promoted to the 9pm newscast in 2019.

Before Texas, she worked for KTVH Helena, Montana as an Anchor/Reporter/Producer/Multimedia Journalist.

The California State University-Northridge grad worked for the school's KCSN Radio-88.5FM as a morning producer/anchor and LA Channel36 Valley View News as an MMJ. She interned with ABC7 KABC, Access Hollywood and The Hollywood Reporter.
