Daniela Ibarra joined KSAT 12 San Antonio as an On-Air Producer/Content Creator in July 2023 after interning there back in 2017.
Ibarra returns to Texas from KTUL ABC 8 Tulsa, Oklahoma where she was a multimedia journalist (MMJ).
She started her professional TV career with KTXS News Abilene in 2019, first as a reporter and later a weekend anchor/producer.
The University of North Texas grad earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. While in school, she worked with North Texas Television doing everything from producer and reporter to director. The Mayborn School of Journalism recognized Ibarra with its Rising Star award in March of 2023.
As I mentioned above, Ibarra interned with KSAT, and also with CBS DFW KTVT (now called CBS News Texas) as well as Univision Dallas KUVN.
Coming from a military family, Ibarra calls San Antonio home growing up.
