Salina Madrid announced she is joining KFOX14 EL Paso as its new morning newscast co-anchor with Jessica Gonzalez.

I guess this means she just moves down the hall at 200 S. Alto Mesa Street because Madrid left the CBS4 Mornings newscast on El Paso Sinclair Broadcast Group sister-station KDBC on January 6, 2023.
Madrid helped launch the show which she said on-air was the first female anchor team in El Paso.
Here is what Madrid posted on Facebook:
"I’m super excited to announce I will be joining the KFOX14 Morning News team. Starting Monday, you can now watch me every weekday morning from 5 to 9 on KFOX-TV. It’s been a dream & honor to tell the stories of my community for my people and I can’t wait to keep doing it. Thank you to all of our incredible viewers who continue to welcome me into your homes every morning. See you soon on the KFOX14 Morning News."
Madrid, who has been with CBS4/KFOX14 since 2018, started as a news production assistant and moved her way to reporter and then anchor.
The New Mexico State University grad was an anchor/reporter for the school's student-produced News22 KRWG and interned with WCIV ABC News 4 Charleston, S.C.
