Jim Lefko left his reporting position with News4 San Antonio WOAI and Fox29 KABB after four and a half years to join incoming Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai as director of communications.
Lefko joined the Texas Sinclair Broadcast Group duopoly stations in July 2018 after a newspaper career.
He previously was the sports editor for the San Antonio Express-News and before that the Indianapolis Star. While at the Express-News, Lefko created Spurs Nation TV and a Spurs magazine.
The University of Texas at Austin grad also was an for the San Antonio Light, Texas Orange Power Magazine and The Austin Citizen Newspaper.
